Sasha Longs for Love and Stability

Sasha is only 6 months old, and she already knows what it feels like to be abandoned. This sweet Heeler/Hound mix was found with several other dogs dumped at the end of a dead end road in rural Virginia, left behind with no idea why their families were gone or if anyone would ever come back for them. A puppy should be learning what it feels like to be safe, loved, and wanted, not waiting on the side of a lonely road for someone who isn’t returning. Sasha’s whole life is still ahead of her, and Homeward Trails wants to make sure this terrible beginning isn’t the rest of her story. But we desperately need donations and sponsors to bring her to safety.
