Our Story

In every community, there are moments that shape who a girl becomes moments that build confidence, strengthen friendships, and help her understand her worth. But those moments don’t always happen on their own. Girls need safe places, trusted mentors, and environments where they can ask questions, explore who they are, and learn how to navigate the changes that come with growing up.

That is why Girls Club was created.

Girls Club is a program for girls ages 8–11, designed to help young girls grow in confidence, build meaningful friendships, and better understand the changes happening in their growing bodies all in a safe, age‑appropriate, encouraging environment. Through hands‑on activities, interactive lessons, creative projects, and positive mentorship, Girls Club creates a space where girls feel valued, supported, and empowered during some of the most important years of their development.

We believe that when a girl understands her worth, she becomes unstoppable.

How We Strengthen the Community

Girls Club invests in the next generation of young women and when girls are supported, families are strengthened, and the entire community benefits.

We help girls:

• Build confidence and self‑respect
• Develop healthy friendships
• Learn about physical and emotional changes in an age‑appropriate way
• Understand body safety and personal boundaries
• Gain tools to make healthy choices
• Grow into compassionate, confident leaders

We also partner with parents by reinforcing positive communication, encouraging kindness and responsibility, and providing trusted mentors who help girls feel seen and supported.

Through affordable programming and scholarship opportunities, we ensure every girl has the chance to participate regardless of financial circumstances.

What We Hope to Accomplish

Our goal is to help girls recognize their value, build confidence, and develop the knowledge and life skills they need to thrive. Girls Club provides a safe, trusted environment where girls can ask questions, learn about their growing bodies, and gain age‑appropriate knowledge that empowers them to protect themselves and make healthy choices.

By fostering confidence, resilience, and self‑respect at a young age, we hope to create a lasting positive impact not only in the lives of these girls, but throughout our community for generations.

Our Growing Impact

Girls Club is preparing to welcome its first participants in August 2026, and the response from families has been overwhelmingly encouraging. Parents are eager for a program that provides mentorship, education, and a safe space for their daughters to grow.

In preparation for launch, our leadership team completed certification through Girls Club Global, secured high‑quality curriculum, built relationships with local families, and gained community support through sponsorships and scholarships. The foundation is strong now we need your help to open the door for more girls.

How Give Big Funds Will Be Used

Funds raised during Give Big Cozad will be used in two meaningful ways:

• Girl Sponsorships

Donors can directly sponsor a girl’s participation, ensuring financial barriers never prevent a child from experiencing Girls Club.

• Program Support

General donations will help cover educational materials, hands‑on activity supplies, crafts, facility rent, and other program expenses that allow us to provide a high‑quality experience for every girl.

Fundraising Goal: $3,000

Our goal is to:

• Sponsor 10 girls, and
• Raise $1,250 for program materials and ongoing needs

Your support helps provide scholarships, curriculum materials, supplies, and a safe, empowering environment for every girl who walks through our doors.
