Cozad Ag Education Fund

What Our Organization Does

Agriculture is the backbone of Cozad and the Cozad Chamber Ag Committee exists to make sure that backbone stays strong. Our mission is simple: promote agriculture, support the next generation of ag leaders, and ensure that Cozad’s agricultural heritage continues to thrive.

We champion the farmers, ranchers, ag businesses, and students who keep our community moving forward. By investing in education and opportunity, we help secure the future of an industry that feeds, fuels, and sustains our region.

How We Help the Community

A strong agricultural community means a strong Cozad. The Chamber Ag Committee supports local ag initiatives, celebrates the importance of farming and ranching, and helps connect students to meaningful ag‑related opportunities.

Our most impactful work centers on scholarships opening doors for students pursuing:

• 2‑year ag programs
• 4‑year ag degrees
• Agriculture Future of America (AFA) leadership and development programs

These scholarships help students gain the skills, education, and leadership training needed to return to rural communities and strengthen the future of agriculture.

What Our Project Hopes to Accomplish

Our goal is to expand scholarship opportunities so more Cozad students can pursue agricultural careers. Whether a student wants to study agronomy, animal science, ag business, precision ag, or leadership through AFA, we want to help make that possible.

Agriculture is changing and our students deserve access to the education and training that will prepare them for the next generation of innovation, stewardship, and leadership.

Every scholarship awarded, every student encouraged, and every ag initiative supported helps build a stronger future for Cozad.
