Cozad Community Leaders

What Our Organization Does

Cozad Community Leaders (CCL) exists to make community involvement fun, meaningful, and accessible. We encourage and facilitate professional networking, volunteerism, and community service all while creating an environment where people genuinely enjoy showing up. CCL brings together individuals who want to make Cozad better, stronger, and more connected.

How We Help the Community

CCL is behind many of the community events Cozad residents love and most of them are free to attend. From social gatherings to service projects to annual traditions, we create opportunities for people to connect, give back, and feel proud of their hometown.

Our events strengthen community identity, support local causes, and give residents a chance to participate in something bigger than themselves. When people feel connected, communities thrive.

What Our Project Hopes to Accomplish

During Give Big Cozad 2026, our goal is simple:

Help the community understand the full impact of CCL and inspire new volunteers to join us.

We want more people to see the heart behind our events, the service behind our smiles, and the difference we make when we come together. Growing our volunteer base means more events, more energy, and more opportunities to serve Cozad.

How We Have Impacted Cozad in the Last Year

Every year, CCL hosts the beloved Cake & Silent Auction, and in 2026 we selected South Central Developmental Services as the beneficiary. The amount raised left them shocked in the best way. While we facilitate the event, it’s truly a reflection of Cozad’s generosity and spirit.

CCL helps make moments like this possible. We create the space, the structure, and the excitement that brings people together to support causes that matter.

How We Will Use Give Big Funds

Funds raised during Give Big Cozad will be used to:

• Continue offering free community events
• Enhance and expand those events
• Provide supplies, materials, and support for future CCL activities

Your support helps us keep these events accessible, engaging, and impactful ensuring that everyone in Cozad has opportunities to connect and participate.

Fundraising Goal: $1,000

Every dollar helps us continue creating experiences that bring joy, connection, and community pride to Cozad. When you give to CCL, you’re supporting the people who show up, pitch in, and make this town feel like home.
