A Terminal Illness Changed Jelly Roll’s Life

Jelly Roll is just two-years old, but his life changed when his owner became terminally ill. This Collie mix and his sister were surrendered to a rural Virginia shelter because their owner could no longer care for them—an incredibly difficult decision, but one made out of love, to make sure Jelly Roll and his sister would continue to be safe and cared for.

Unfortunately, the loud environment and limited space in the kennels is so foreign to Jelly Roll that he has been living in fear.  Despite the shelter's best efforts, Jelly Roll is shutting down.  Shelter volunteers report how quickly he opens up as soon as he is taken outside making the shelter desperate to find him placement NOW before his condition worsens.  This poor pup has been through devastating life changes and needs us to come through for him this week.
