Two Forgotten Puppies Waiting for a Way Out

Cranberry and Turkey are just babies, barely two and a half months old, yet they’ve already spent a full month locked away in a cold rural Virginia shelter with no one coming to claim them, no adopters asking about them, and no soft place to land. These Bulldog mix siblings, each only a tiny 15 pounds, still wag their tails at every stranger, still press their little faces to the kennel door hoping that today will finally be the day someone chooses them. But shelters like this aren’t easy on young puppies. The loneliness, the noise, the constant threat of illness... it’s no place for sweet, happy go lucky babies trying their best to stay brave. Homeward Trails wants to pull Cranberry and Turkey to safety, but they can’t do it without help. They shouldn’t have to spend even one more night in that scary, silent place.
