How Your Contribution Impacts 4-H Exhibitors

The Dawson County Livestock Premium Auction Fund is entering its second year in 2027, continuing an opportunity to recognize and reward 4-H exhibitors for the hard work and dedication that goes into raising market livestock.

The auction features market beef, sheep, goats and swine exhibited by Dawson County 4-H youth. It gives local businesses, families and community supporters an opportunity to invest directly in the young people who are helping carry agriculture into the future.

Raising and preparing a market animal takes time, responsibility and countless hours of care. The Premium Auction provides an opportunity for our community to recognize those efforts and celebrate the accomplishments of our youth.

Your contributions during Give Big help make the auction possible. Funds support essential overhead costs, advertising and a general fund that helps ensure every 4-H exhibitor in the auction has the opportunity to leave the ring with a bid.
