Charlie Has a Broken Back!

We met Charlie during one of our Trails UP trap-neuter-return (TNR) trips in southwestern Virginia. His caregiver alerted us that he had recently started limping and she was worried about him. We got him into the vet where they found bruising when they shaved him for surgery and performed x-rays. We were shocked to hear Charlie had fractured his spine. The good news a full recovery is possible, but Charlie needs several weeks of strict cage rest and possibly physical therapy. He'll need to have repeat x-rays to make sure his bones are healing correctly. 

Charlie's caregiver loved him, but knew they weren't in a position to manage his recovery so they gave him to Homeward Trails. Please help us make sure Charlie makes a full recovery and gets all the diagnostics and treatment he needs.
