"Service Above Self"

The Lexington Rotary Club was chartered in 1938. We were recognized as the district's "Club of the Year" for our increased membership, increased fundraising, and passion for having fun while serving others in 2022.

Proceeds from Give BIG will support bringing in a nationally recognized community-wide anti-human-trafficking program as well as maintaining the community efforts listed below.

Lexington Rotary Club has supported the Lexington community through its various projects, which include:

  • Scholarship to local high school graduates
  • Dictionary project for every 3rd grader in Lexington Schools
  • Raised community polio awareness with Pints and Pours event at Mac's Creek
  • 4-way test essay contest
  • Donated money to L2 for Kids
  • Rotary Polio Eradication Program
  • Financially supported Lexington Recreation Complex, Lexington Library, Dawson County Museum, Keep Lexington Beautiful, and YMCA
  • Donated popcorn machine to Majestic Theatre
  • Built Gazebo at Eastlawn
  • Host Chamber Outstanding Student Achievement Awards
  • Various international humanitarian projects

The Lexington Rotary Club invites you to become part of the best humanitarian organization in the world.
