Providing locally raised, nutritious beef for the staff and students of Overton Public School.
Program Overview
The Overton Beef Boosters are working to provide healthy, locally sourced beef to enhance the school lunch program. The goal is to be able to provide enough beef to meet the needs of the current menu at the public school and potentially expand beef offerings in the future. This is an excellent opportunity to expose students and staff to the quality beef that is raised by local producers, and it provides additional learning opportunities to teach kids about how important livestock and farming operations are to the community and to the world.
