Cozad Development Foundation

The Development Foundation was founded in 2019 to tackle projects that help Cozad residents to love where they live.  Our mission is to strengthen economic opportunity and the quality of life for Cozad residents while ensuring a vibrant framework for the future.

The Foundation has completed projects such as the Fox Theater renovation, a new Welcome sign, clean up at the Tenneco site, flags for Highway 21, First Impressions grants, and the art icons displayed around town.  Our organization undertakes projects that create a sense of pride for Cozad. 

We are currently working on projects for the Haymaker Creative and Historic District.  

We are also working with Jeff Siegler and the Hastings College Scott Scholars on a Revitalize and Thrive Initiative to not only engage young leaders but to make impactful change in Cozad.
