Millie is a beautiful 6 year old Lab mix who has just lost everything she’s ever known. Her owner is moving and has left her at a very overcrowded rural shelter. Now, Millie sits heartbroken, confused, and abandoned... left behind like she never mattered. She doesn’t understand why the only family she’s ever loved is gone. The shelter is loud and frightening, and Millie is shutting down fast. Homeward Trails wants to rescue her and bring her to a safe foster home in the DC area, but they can’t do it without donations to cover her rescue and transport costs. No dog should be left behind like this. Please help Millie feel wanted again.
