Meals on Wheels provided meals to the Lexington community for more than 40 years.  In the beginning, Tri-County Hospital prepared the meals, and volunteers delivered them.  In 1993, the Lexington Grand Generation Center opened a new center located at 407 E. 6th Street and started preparing meals.  Volunteers from various Lexington churches are on a rotating schedule to deliver the meals.  The volunteers deliver meals Monday through Friday.  Currently, an average of 35 meals are prepared and delivered each day.

Home-delivered meals are provided to persons unable to prepare their meals because of illness, disabilities, or doctors' orders upon referral.

With the support of the volunteers and your generosity, Meals on Wheels can continue to provide healthy meals to those in need.

Your support is truly appreciated!
