Veterans Memorial Wall
The Lexington Veterans Memorial Pavilion, located in Kirkpatrick Memorial Park, was dedicated on June 29, 2024, in honor of all veterans and active service members, especially those from Lexington and Dawson County. The venue features an open-air amphitheater with restrooms and handicap access, a five-sided walkway with military branch emblems, and a memorial wall for veteran recognition bricks.
Contributions made to this project through Give Big Lexington will assist the City of Lexington in purchasing additional memorial bricks for veterans who no longer have family to honor them.
