Lexington Regional Health Center, formerly Tri-County Hospital, opened in September 1976. Lexington Regional Health Center is a political subdivision, now a 25-bed critical access hospital offering inpatient, outpatient, surgical, emergency, and obstetric services. Patient care and quality health outcomes are our top priorities. Lexington Regional has been honored to receive one of the most distinguished employment awards in healthcare: Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023. Through the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, LRHC received the Safe Sleep Champion, Breastfeeding Champion, and Abusive Head Trauma Champion designations in 2024.

LRHC understands that a commitment to healthcare and excellence in service fosters a better patient experience within a strong, flourishing community.
