How your contribution impacts 4-Hers

The Livestock Premium Fund will recognize outstanding breeding animals and other livestock projects, as in past years. These awards are made possible through generous donations from supporters and sponsors who believe in investing in youth livestock exhibitors.

We’re excited to announce the Dawson County 4-H Premium Auction, launching in 2026! This new opportunity is designed to recognize and support exhibitors participating in market livestock projects.

All exhibitors showing market beef, sheep, goats, or swine will have the option to participate in the Premium Auction. This sale offers an additional opportunity for buyers and community supporters to reward exhibitors for the hard work and dedication that go into raising quality livestock. 

Premiums and auction proceeds go to the youth exhibitors. Donor and community contributions help sustain both the sale and the premium fund, ensuring recognition for all types of livestock projects.

The Livestock Premium Auction and Fund are about more than awards; they’re about supporting the future of agriculture and celebrating the dedication of our youth exhibitors. Whether through auction participation or premium awards, every exhibitor has a chance to be recognized for their commitment and excellence.
