The Lexington chapter of the Knights of Columbus

The Knights organization was originally formed to render financial aid to members and their families.  Fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief, and public relief works.

The Knights of Columbus is an order of Catholic gentlemen committed to the exemplification of charity, unity, fraternity, patriotism, respect for life, and defense of the priesthood.  It executes this mission by striving in charitable works . . . and giving aid to widows, orphans, the sick, and the poor.

Our charitable activities encompass an almost infinite variety of local, national, and international projects.  Did you know that the St. Ann’s Knights of Columbus assist youth in the following ways?

  • Tootsie Roll Drive:  Provides support for the Special Olympics, local and national levels
  • Operation Santa Claus:   Provides Christmas gifts for the less fortunate
  • One Rose One Life: Supports life, especially women who are in great need at local and national levels by providing postage for letters to government officials
  • Donates to community groups:  Boys Scouts of America; Post- Prom; Lexington Baseball Association; Blood Drive
  • Scholarships:  Sponsors 2-3 $1,000 Scholarships a year

St. Ann’s Knights of Columbus would like all men 18 years of age and older to consider becoming a member of the Knights of Columbus.

The question is:  Why wouldn’t you want to be a part of such a dynamic group?
