Let’s Add Two Pickleball Courts to Johnson Lake Playground!

Johnson Lake Playground History

  • 2023 – Playground equipment installed on a rubberized surface. Amenities include benches, a covered picnic shelter, landscaping, and a parking area.
  • 2024 – water project completed, including hydrant, sprinkler system, and public water station.
  • COMING in 2026 – Pickleball Project to include the installation of two regulation-sized pickleball courts just east of the picnic shelter at the playground.

The use of the Johnson Lake Playground has exceeded expectations. The playground committee has welcomed suggestions for additional projects and is moving forward with our next project - Pickleball courts!

With successful fundraising, the pickleball courts will be completed in fall 2026. Our goal is to raise $140,000 to make this a reality. This budget covers everything: the building of the courts, sturdy nets and fencing, benches, landscaping, signage, and maintenance. Every single donation helps us get closer. If you can, please donate. Any amount makes a difference! Donations $1,000 or more will be permanently recognized at the pickleball courts.
