Johnson Lake Fireworks “Light up the Lake”

The Johnson Lake Fireworks committee will host the 26th annual “Light up the Lake" fireworks show on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10 p.m. The rain date is July 5th.

Every year, thanks to your support, families and friends from all over come out to celebrate and watch the sky light up in a way you don’t see anywhere else. Organizing this event requires a lot of work (and a lot of fireworks), and it wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community. Your donation—no matter the size—goes toward everything from the fireworks themselves to keeping everyone safe, and making sure the whole night runs smoothly for the 60,000+ people who show up to watch.Photo Credit: Paul Pack
