Jer is Fighting For His Life

Jer recently arrived after being surrendered by his owner to a shelter. Transitions like that can be so hard on cats and that was very true for Jer. After arriving, he seemed quiet and introverted. He began to refuse food and show signs of nausea. In the last 12 hours, Jer has declined rapidly and his urinary tract has become blocked. Something very painful and incredibly dangerous for a cat. If not unblocked, cats can quickly die from this. We rushed Jer to the vet to start getting him the care he needs - his only hope for survival. A catheter was placed so he can pass urine, however he's in critical condition. We don't know if Jer is going to make it, but this special boy needs our support now more than ever. 

Blockages are expensive and require around the clock care to survive. Jer is literally fighting for his life - any amount helps us cover his vet bills.
