Thanks to everyone who donated to our fundraiser in 2022 and 2023! We have a great start on our project but there is still more to do. We would like to add a digital kiosk with names of veterans and some landscaping. Donations made this year will help us put the finishing touches on the Memorial.

In 2022 the Elwood Community Redevelopment Authority began a fundraiser for a Veterans Memorial project. Your donations in 2024 will help us finish up this big project.
The Memorial is in a highly visible location on the empty lot on Highway 23, between Calvert and Highway 283. Parking is available off of the alley, and benches allow visitors a chance to sit down and take time to appreciate the purpose of the Memorial. Additional needs for the project are to add a Kiosk with names and some landscaping.
