El Camino began as a grassroots leadership class through the Lexington Public Library. After returning from a national conference in Chicago, this group of individuals decided that Lexington was just getting started.
Mission: A pathway for developing leaders, accomplishing dreams by welcoming diverse relationships for a better life.
Vision: Proactive Equity
El Camino hosted its first annual Independence Day Celebration in 2023, and the proceeds from Give BIG Lexington will go toward 2024's Independence Day Celebration.
