Dawn Needed Emergency Surgery

Dawn's caregiver did the right thing and got her spayed through our Trails UP program so she wouldn't have any more kittens, but Dawn just didn't take her recovery very seriously. One thing led to another and Dawn ripped open her incision and her intestines came out (we will spare you the photos!). Dawn's caregiver had no one else to turn to and called Homeward Trails. Luckily, a volunteer was able to rush Dawn to the vet where she had emergency surgery to repair the extensive damage. But in the process Dawn created quite the bill. Her caregiver also decided it would be better for Dawn to live as an exclusively indoor cat and come to Homeward Trails so she didn't have any other complications and could be watched closely during her recovery. Please help us give Dawn all she needs and cover the cost of her surgery.
