The mission of the Little Disciples Preschool is to provide a safe, loving and encouraging environment that not only meets the child's developmental and academic needs, but also their spiritual needs.
Little Disciples Preschool serves the community of Cozad by meeting a critical need for early childhood education and care. Since opening in the fall of 2017 with a single class for 4 and 5-year-olds, we have been committed to providing a nurturing, faith-based learning environment that supports the growth and development of young children.
Recognizing the growing demand for quality preschool options in our area, we expanded in the summer of 2021 to include a three-day program for 3 and 4-year-olds. This expansion has allowed us to serve more families and give children a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
In a community where childcare options are limited, Little Disciples Preschool plays a vital role by offering both education and support to working families, helping children thrive and strengthening the community as a whole.
Little Disciples Preschool hopes to continue providing high-quality, faith-based early childhood education while addressing the growing need for preschool and childcare options in Cozad. Our goal is to nurture the development of young children academically, socially, and spiritually while also supporting local families by offering safe, reliable care.
By expanding our programs to serve both 3/4 and 4/5-year-olds, we aim to give more children a strong start to their educational journey and help meet the critical demand for accessible early learning opportunities in our community.
Over the past year, Little Disciples Preschool has made a meaningful impact on the Cozad community by continuing to provide quality early childhood education to local families in a safe, nurturing, and faith-based environment. We have supported working parents by offering consistent and reliable care during a time when childcare options remain limited in our area. Our staff has helped prepare children for kindergarten by fostering essential social, emotional, and academic skills. In doing so, we've not only supported individual families, but also contributed to the overall strength and stability of our community.
We plan to use the money raised to purchase much-needed supplies and playground equipment, make important updates to our preschool facility, and provide tuition assistance for families in need. These funds will help us enhance the learning environment, ensure the safety and comfort of our students, and make our program more accessible to children who may not otherwise be able to attend. By supporting Little Disciples Preschool, you are helping us invest in the future of our community one child at a time.
