Cozad United Methodist Little Disciples Preschool

What Our Organization Does

Little Disciples Preschool exists to provide a safe, loving, Christ‑centered environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Our mission is to meet each child’s developmental and academic needs while also nurturing their spiritual foundation. We teach children that Jesus loves them, that they are precious in His eyes, and we help prepare them for Kindergarten with confidence, curiosity, and joy.

We are planting seeds of faith while building a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

How We Help the Community

Little Disciples offers families in Cozad a place where their children are cared for, encouraged, and surrounded by God’s love. In a world that can feel overwhelming, our preschool provides stability, warmth, and a sense of belonging. Children learn, play, build friendships, and grow in an environment rooted in Christian values.

By supporting early childhood education grounded in faith, we strengthen families, support working parents, and help raise children who feel secure, valued, and loved.

What Our Project Hopes to Accomplish

Our goal is simple and deeply meaningful: to make faith‑based early childhood education accessible to every family who desires it.

We want every child to have the opportunity to:

• Learn in a Christ‑centered environment
• Build a strong academic and social foundation
• Discover that Jesus loves them
• Grow in confidence as they prepare for Kindergarten

We measure success not only by academic readiness, but by the joy, growth, and spiritual development we see in our students each day.

How We Have Impacted Cozad in the Last Year

Last year, Little Disciples made a meaningful impact on our community by giving young children a safe, loving place to learn and grow. We helped children build friendships, develop early academic skills, and experience daily reminders of God’s love.

Families trusted us with their children, and we provided a nurturing environment where faith and learning work hand‑in‑hand.

How We Will Use Give Big Funds

Funds raised during Give Big Cozad will support our preschool scholarship fund, which helps make Little Disciples accessible to families who may need financial assistance. This scholarship program ensures that more children can experience:

• A loving, Christ‑centered learning environment
• High‑quality early childhood education
• A strong foundation for faith and academics

Your generosity helps open the door for children who might otherwise miss out on this formative experience.

Fundraising Goal: $4,000

Every dollar helps a child learn, grow, and discover the love of Jesus. Your support ensures that Little Disciples can continue serving families, strengthening faith, and nurturing the youngest hearts in our community.
