Cozad FFA Alumni & Supporters

Cozad FFA Alumni and Supporters began in 2021 with the mission to support and promote the Cozad FFA, FFA activities, and agricultural education on local, state and national levels.

Our goal is to raise money to support our local Cozad FFA chapter and provide yearly scholarships to graduating seniors.  Long term goals would be to provide Cozad FFA with an area of land to provide a learning opportunity for crop growing and possibly livestock shelter and raising. 

Cozad FFA Alumni and Supporters have helped the local FFA chapter at events by monetary and volunteering (helping with preparing for competitions and be sponsors for trips) donations.  We have helped promote agriculture to students at Cozad Schools; whether they are town or country students.  Our goal is to get kids involved in agriculture to give them the understanding and opportunity to get educated and come back to rural areas after graduation from college.  We are slowly seeing those students that have been involved in the FFA Organization start to come back home to Cozad to work in Agriculture professions and bring home their learning and knowledge.

We have the following events planned: 

- Scholarship Night

- FFA Week

- Sponsorship for Husker Harvest Days

- National and State FFA Competitions sponsorship and preparation

- Volunteering for preparation for competitions throughout school year

- Local and District Competitions Preparation
