Cozad Community Scholastic Association (CCSA)

CCSA is a community-based organization that promotes the academic accomplishments of students at Cozad High School through monetary awards, scholarships, and student financial aid loans    

We promote and reward the academic success of Cozad Students for their hard work and dedication through monetary awards during an annual awards night at the Cozad High School.  

We also offer low interest financial aid loans to Cozad graduates that allow the students to defer payment until after they graduate college, and we provide an annual scholarship to a graduating senior. We organize and manage the Burkholder scholarship, and most improved student award each year as well.    

We have many Cozad High School students who have benefited from our student loan program and donations help us to continue to be able to provide this service to Cozad graduates.  We have given out 12 scholarships totaling $1,500.  We give out annual awards to students who test in the 90th percentile in Math, Reading, Language Arts, and Science.  CCSA manages payments and hands out the Burkholder annual scholarship as well.  

We need to keep helping our Cozad youth be able to attend college and show that Cozad is a great community with caring residents, great programs, and several opportunities available for future generations to come back thrive after college and enjoy these benefits and programs for their families as well.    We have impacted students with scholarships, monetary awards, and helped ease the financial burden of college with multiple $3000 loans for students from Cozad.  These loans are low interest loans and interest is not charged until the loans are put on repayment, which happens once the borrower is no longer a full-time student.   

 All funds raised go directly to the CCSA scholarships, monetary awards night for students, and allows us to help more students with financial aid loans.
