Cozad VFW Auxiliary 890

We were created to support the Veterans of Foreign War posts.  Our missions is to improve the lives of veterans, active-duty service members and their families, and our communities.

We are planning on using any funds raised to purchase a new memorial wreath to be used and the Memorial Day and Veterans Day programs.  Also, we are assisting the VFW Post 890 in upgrading their restroom to be handicap accessible.

We assist with the Memorial Day Program, Veterans Day Program, Buddy Poppy Program, and our local veterans in need.

We assist with placing the flags around the VFW building for patriotic holidays. We assist in facilitating the Memorial Day and Veterans Day Programs.  We also do the Patriots Pen and Voice of Democracy Programs at the school to make sure the youth are reminded of our history as well as how they can make the United States a better place moving forward.
