Give BIG is hosted by LEXINGTON COMMUNITY FOUNDATION. Every participating cause will have its giving day page through givebiglexington.org, which helps individuals, groups, and businesses discover and donate to nonprofits serving the area all year. The Give BIG 2025 campaign kicks off on September 15th and will culminate in a 24-hour giving event on November 6th.

The purpose of this community-wide giving challenge is to raise awareness of current philanthropic needs and opportunities in our community, build the capacity of local nonprofits, and inspire donors to support your cause. Together, we have the power to raise thousands of dollars for the future of Lexington.

Any nonprofit organization or community betterment project that serves Lexington is welcome to participate. This includes health and human service organizations, arts and culture, children and families, education, animals, parks, and recreational organizations showing impact. Organizations that exist primarily for religious or political activities are excluded.

To register, contact Beth Roberts at the Lexington Community Foundation. The registration deadline to receive matching funds is August 15, 2025.

Gather and prepare information about your cause to build or update the giving day page. You will need:

• Impact statement or story - What will you do with the money you raise? Be specific and include timelines.
• Photos and videos that support your community impact may be included. 

After you have registered for Give BIG Lexington, you will receive a Campaign Guide that will include a checklist with deadlines and resources for a successful Give BIG campaign! Utilize this guide to inspire your donors to support your cause.

Schedule donations online starting on September 15th until November 6th using the givebiglexington.org link!
